I, like so many people across the country, woke up angry again today about everything that's gone on- how could we not be? But then I saw a picture of all my little cousins and I couldn't help but think about their future. In that moment I chose to let that anger go. Yes there is so much about this that we don't know and have no control over and that's infuriating, but what we do have control over is who we are, how we act and how we teach our youth. Our future. Instead of hate and fear, I choose teach our youth compassion and strength- with those tools we can survive anything..
