28 of the arrests were for driving while intoxicated
AP- New Hampshire state police say they made 91 arrests over the July 4th holiday weekend, and 28 of them were for driving while intoxicated. State and local police responded to at least three fatalities over the four-day period. They said on Sunday, 18-year-old Allen Field died in Epsom after failing to negotiate a turn on New Rye road. Police said they initially had observed field's vehicle behind the central school and tried to stop him, but he drove away. Police discontinued the pursuit, and the accident happened a short time later. They are still investigating the crash. In other weekend accidents, a 35-year-old Auburn man died in a vehicle crash in Manchester and a man died in motorcycle crash in Exeter.
