Police report that at least two people have been rescued following being knocked into water by breaking surf
HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) - Police say at least two people have been rescued after being knocked into the water by breaking surf at New Hampshire's Hampton Beach.
Police say they found two people in the water at the end of the jetty that were having a difficult time making it back to shore.
Both had to be lifted back onto the Jetty. Police say one appeared to be hypothermic so was carried down the jetty and taken to the hospital.
Police say they later learned that another person was recovered from the water by a boater.
