Gunshots at plaza near UNH
Kelley said officers were patrolling Main Street on foot at the time and heard sounds that they believed were either fireworks or gunshots. When they reached the scene, there was no sign of any suspects.Police are investigating gunfire at a downtown plaza early Sunday morning. Durham Deputy Police Chief Rene Kelley told Seacoast Online the 1 a.m. incident was captured on surveillance cameras in the parking lot of the Mill Road Plaza, which borders the eastern end of the University of New Hampshire campus.
