Police now looking in Massachusetts
PLAISTOW, N.H. — Authorities are now looking in Massachusetts for a Plaistow couple accused of assaulting a 3-year-old child.
"We're getting calls from people as far as Swampscott saying they've seen these individuals down there," said Lt. William Baldwin of the Plaistow Police Department.
Jessica Linscott, 23, and Roland Dow, 27, are now wanted on felony first-degree assault charges for allegedly abusing Linscott's 3-year-old son, James.
Police said when doctors at Exeter Hospital first saw the boy last Wednesday, his body was covered in in bruises and burns, and had signs of head trauma.
